Les Mills History
It all started 50 years ago with a four-time Olympian. Les Mills’ first gym was simplistic in style, targeting a small community of athletes. But things really took off after his son (Phillip) stopped handing out magazines to people using the indoor cycles and started offering group workouts to modern music.
Phillip and his wife Jackie continued developing the concept and employed a number of talented presenters to take Les Mills programs across the globe.
Today, the Les Mills programme is licensed in 100 countries by 20,000 partners including 24/7 Fitness.

How Long Are Les Mills Classes?
Les Mills classes vary in length, with high intensity classes typically being shorter than lighter intensity classes, however most Les Mills classes last either 30 or 60 minutes.
