What are Les Mills Classes?
From the creators of BODYPUMP, Les Mills is a family run concept that combines the latest exercise trends, ground-breaking technology and science and mixes it with awesome tunes for an effective workout that is taking the world by storm.
Whether martial arts-inspired fitness is your thing or you are more of a yoga bunny, Les Mills classes cover a variety of fitness preferences so that there is a great session to suit every type of athlete.
Les Mills classes can take place in a club, virtually or at a gym with a specially trained instructor. Like the Les Mills founders, we are on a mission to help people lead fitter, healthier lives and have invested in qualified instructors to help you take your fitness to the next level.
Les Mills History
It all started 50 years ago with a four-time Olympian. Les Mills’ first gym was simplistic in style, targeting a small community of athletes. But things really took off after his son (Phillip) stopped handing out magazines to people using the indoor cycles and started offering group workouts to modern music.
Phillip and his wife Jackie continued developing the concept and employed a number of talented presenters to take Les Mills programs across the globe.
Today, the programme is licensed in 100 countries by 20,000 partners including 24/7 Fitness.
Who are Les Mills exercise classes for?
The great thing about this movement is that it leaves no man (or woman) behind. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned gym-goer, there is a class for everyone.
